|Our Centre |
In one of Dunedin's first police-stations, with a superb view of the harbour and Dunedin city itself, is Andersons Bay Playcentre.
The beautiful old villa has made a graceful transition to a playground for children and we think its much the better for it.
The Andersons Bay community (currently around 15 families) comes from all over Dunedin. From Waikari to Tomahawk to Tainui to Andersons Bay itself - but we are all there for the same thing; fun, play and friendships (and quality learning too).
Andersons Bay received an excellent ERO report from Term 4 of 2007. We have an excellent supervision team with a paid supervisor and rostered parent help to ensure a minimum of 1:4 ratio. You are able to leave your 2 and a half year old children once they are settled and happy, however many parents stay and play whether they are rostered on or not (why should the kids get all the fun?).
Children bring their own morning tea and we have a rolling morning tea in supervised areas.
Our centre is "nut free" due to allergies.
