Update 17 August 2021

17 August 2021

Tēnā koutou i tēnei ahiahi

As you will be aware, from 11.59pm tonight Tuesday 17 August, all of New Zealand will move to Alert Level 4.

This measure will remain in place for 3 days from 11:59pm tonight for all of New Zealand, with the exception of Auckland and the Coromandel Peninsula, with both staying in Level 4 likely for the next 7 days.

This means that all Playcentres, throughout New Zealand, will be closed from tomorrow for at least the next three days.

You can read more about the move to Alert Level 4, and what this means at https://covid19.govt.nz/alert-levels-and-updates/

There is also information on the Playcentre website to remind you of COVID-19 guidance at various levels.

Regional and National personnel will be on deck for the duration and will be working with the Ministry of Education and other relevant organisations to keep you informed.

The Virtual Village on our website is available with resources and support for you and your tamariki as we go through this time together.

Please continue to look after yourself, your whānau and your village.
