A child learns about their own physical strength.
Physical activity promotes children’s mental and emotional health as well as their physical well-being.
Children will daily develop more agility, coordination and balance through activities such as climbing, throwing, catching, crawling, climbing and balancing. Through this, they learn about concepts such as under, over, through and between and begin to learn their limits.
Outside adventure play gives children the opportunity to work cooperatively with others and to discuss ideas, negotiate, take turns, share and deal with conflict. They are encouraged to be imaginative when using simple materials to represent something else.
