Grant Enquiry Form

As Playcentre Aotearoa is the governing body and holds legal responsibility for all grant applications, all grants must be submitted through the National Grants Team.

This does not mean that centres are excluded from the process — your local knowledge and voice are essential to the success of every grant application.

We ask that all centres complete the Grant Enquiry Form (previously called the Grant Application Form — it may still appear under this name in some places).

The form is available on the Playcentre Aotearoa website under Resources & Grants.

Once submitted, the Grants Team will:

  • Identify the most suitable funding opportunities, and
  • Manage the accountability and reporting requirements.

If your centre identifies a specific grant and has already done the mahi to prepare an application, please still send it to the Grants Team at [email protected]. This ensures:

  • All legal and funding obligations are met,
  • The application is recorded in our national database, and
  • We can track and coordinate applications across the motu to maximise success.

This process ensures best practice, compliance, and strong national oversight — while still celebrating and supporting the local initiatives.
