Regional Hui

Over the next two weeks regional hui will be taking place across the motu, where you can connect with other centre and rōpū members and have a say about who will represent your region at our upcoming national hui 17th – 19th June.  A list of meeting dates and details are available here: Regional Hui 2022 | Playcentre.

Thank you to those awesome volunteers that are helping to organise and facilitate these meetings.

Health and safety project update

We promised to keep everyone updated on the progress of the health and safety project following the independent report we commissioned and received recently. We are excited to report that we have successfully recruited our new Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead as a major step forward in this project. Kathy David will be joining us on 7th June and we will be introducing Kathy to the organisation as part of her induction. Kathy brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the health and safety space to our organisation and is a key appointment as part of our strategic response to the independent report.

Furthermore, we are working with our external health and safety specialists, Working Wise, on the development of systems and processes necessary to support the project whilst we wait for Kathy’s arrival.

We will continue to provide updates on this project to keep everyone informed.
