Update 26 May 2020

Tēnā koutou katoa

Our story made it to the front page of the Otago Daily Times this morning –  https://www.odt.co.nz/regions/dozens-playcentres-south-chopping-block – thanks to Antoinette McLean for presenting our case – and we have also been getting support from the Clutha Mayor Bryan Cadogan.  Great to see the petition is now well over 14,000 – and climbing.

For those of you who have been requesting hand sanitisers here is the link. https://www.playcentre.org.nz/covid-19/moe-funded-hand-sanitisers/

It was great to see that our Virtual Village has been included as a resource on the Ministry of Education’s website. https://learningfromhome.govt.nz/resources?age=Early_Learning

As we are now in Level 2, if you have pre-ordered issue 162 through the Playcentre Shop these are being printed and will be in your mailboxes over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience.

Ka kite anō au i a koutou.
