Tēnā koutou katoa
Following on from my update yesterday, we have received further information about operating at Alert Level 1.
As I stated yesterday, most of Level 1 is very much a return to business as usual for all of us, although with good hygiene practices observed and people who are unwell staying away remaining a priority. Regular (at least daily) cleaning of shared and high touch surfaces is recommended alongside your usual cleaning schedule.
There are no specific health requirements but the Ministry points out that while Centres no longer have to maintain an indoor temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, this remains a good practice. Likewise, physical distancing is no required, but where possible or practicable is encouraged when we are around people we don’t know.
You can find further and detailed information about guidance under Level 1 on our website here.
