We have a vacancy in an exciting role where there is scope to learn and grow your skills in the Human Resources space!
We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is flexible, takes pride in their work and is motivated to learn and grow. You will take responsibility for delivering onboarding services including variations to Agreements, as well as offboarding and ad-hoc changes to our employees’ employment. Additionally, you will manage the recruitment space, with the assistance of our HR Administrator.
Join our team with a focus on fun, quality and improvement as we support Playcentre on the path to success. A typical day would see you drafting new employment agreements and variations to agreements, writing and posting advertisements, organising interviews and maintaining HR records and Sharepoint entries.

This is a permanent, 30 hours per week role based at our National Office in Porirua where the train station is a 5min walk and parking is free!
We use Microsoft software, Teams and Sharepoint systems, knowledge of these is beneficial to help you to settle into the role quickly. You’ll have great relationship management skills and a proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a wide range of people. A relevant qualification is desirable and experience in an ECE or Playcentre environment is useful, but not essential.
