About the role:

The Regional Funding Administrator provides support to our regional leaders through the management of funding and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage enrolments and administration in relation to discretionary situations, emergency closures and amendments to licenses
  • Proactively help centres to undertake their work promoting Playcentre Aotearoa values and philosophy
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Collect and analyse data to support organisational planning, funding applications, compliance reporting, and risk assessment.

Position details

  • The Regional Funding Administrator is based out of the Lower South Island regional office in Dunedin.
  • This is a permanent part-time position, 15 hours per week on Thursday and Friday, with negotiable hours and flexible conditions available.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have superb organizational, administration and data management skills, along with the following:

  • Excellent relationship management skills – proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders
  • Previous administration and data analysis experience
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Office suite and Student Management Systems, namely Discover
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to see the whole picture
  • Adaptability, with the ability to work independently and maintain good judgement
