You’ll have a reputation as an admin whizz, the one who “gets things done”. You’ll have great people skills, a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail.

 You will be responsible for meeting the administrative needs of the General Manager, and at times the National Management Team. From diary management, handling enquiries and IT support – you’ll be the magic behind the day to day functioning at the National Service Centre.

Details of this Role

This is a fixed term, part time position working from the National Service Centre in Mana, Wellington.

This role is for 20 hours per week, ending 28 February 2022.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Diary management for the General Manager
  • Arranging hui, or travel to hui for GM and/or Management Team
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintaining key and IT hardware registers
  • Manage various email accounts
  • Supporting administration of IT logins and access

Desired skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in Administration preferable
  • Strong technology skills especially Microsoft Suite & Office 365
  • Organised – excellent time management abilities, planning work around deadlines and tight timeframes with ability to multitask.  
  • Enjoys working collaboratively with a ‘can do’ attitude. Can also work independently.
  • Excellent relationship management skills- proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
