Are you an experienced and passionate Playcentre leader? We are currently recruiting for a Centre Support Worker based in the Canterbury area to join the Upper South Island regional team.

As a Centre Support Worker, you will work with an allocated number of Playcentres to build a strong sense of whakawhānaungatanga and implement a plan to meet each Playcentre’s individual needs.
You will provide a range of support to centres including: implementing quality teaching and l
earning practices; relationship building; using internal evaluation as a tool to make improvements; sharing and supporting Playcentre philosophy in action; working with centres to strengthen bicultural practices and ensuring compliance and regulations are met.
You will be part of a wider regional team, working collaboratively to provide quality support to your local Playcentres.
If you are good at building relationships, able to think strategically and be innovative in seeking new solutions for old problems, this role might be for you!
It is desired that the successful applicant holds a minimum qualification gazetted level 4 or Course 4 of NZPF Diploma in Early Childhood and Adult Education or equivalent. Applicants with Course 3 and working on Level 4 will also be considered for the role.
