This role is to empower and support centre members with curriculum, education, role modelling, teamwork, philosophy and ongoing evaluation. The role will provide consistency and knowledge of Playcentre philosophy to Centres in Nuhaka and Wairoa.

Nuhaka, Wairoa,

Hours

Permanent position; hours based on how many Playcentres are being supported; primary school term only

Skills and Experience Required

* Strong passion for Playcentre
* Knowledge of and commitment to uphold Playcentre philosophy
* Hold a minimum Education of Course 3 (Playcentre Sessions) and be committed to gaining NZ Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4), or a similar Playcentre recognised qualification, i.e. Diploma in ECE
* Commitment to Biculturalism
* Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki
* High level of time management
* Excellent communication skills
* Hold a full current and valid driver’s licence (will need to use own vehicle)
