We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic session support worker to join our well-resourced and vibrant Playcentre Community

Closing Date: Friday 9th April 2021

Location:

Days Bay Playcentre is located at 2 Pitoitoi Rd, Days Bay, 5013

Hours:

9.00am to 12.30pm – 3.5 hours per week (Friday mornings).  Possibility that this could increase to 7 hours

Start date: 

Term 2 – Friday 7th May 2021

Skills and Experience Required:

Hold a Course 3 Playcentre qualification or higher, or equivalent ECE qualification

  • A passion for Playcentre and its philosophy
  • A background of strong involvement at centre level
  • Have knowledge and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to apply Te Whāriki
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
