Programme Facilitator – Babies Can Play - Canterbury Area (Casual)


The Programme Facilitator is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the programme.  They will ensure that participants are supported to build relationships with each other and that they are enabled to develop and explore parenting skills and children’s development in a safe environment.

Skills and experience required:

Hold a Course 4 Playcentre qualification or working towards completing this, or equivalent ECE qualification

  • A passion for Playcentre and our philosophy;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all ages;
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to apply Te Knowledge and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and using Te Reo on session;
  • A passion for working with new babies and children (aged up to 6 years) alongside parents and caregivers;
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be prepared to complete this


Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
