Regional Funding Administrator – Lower South Island Region

We are looking for an admin superstar with superb organisational and data management skills.

As a Regional Funding Administrator, you will be supporting a network of Playcentres to maximise funding, ensure compliance, manage enrolments, and complete administration in relation to discretionary situations, emergency closures and amendments to licenses.

Lower South Island Regional Office located at 114 Main Road, Fairfield, Dunedin

Days & hours:

Monday to Friday, 20 – 40 hours per week available with flexibility for the right candidate

The person we are looking for will have:

  • Excellent relationship management skills – proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders
  • Previous administration and data analysis experience
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Experience and confidence when working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working with Student Management Systems, preferably Discover – training will be provided for the right candidate
  • An understanding of te ao Māori, including an appreciation of matauranga Māori, tikanga Māori and te reo Māori.
  • Proactive mindset and a good sense of humour.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail as well as the ability to see the whole picture
  • Flexibility and the ability to deal with issues as they arise
  • Sound judgement, a great work ethic and ability to work independently
