It is good to see so many people getting behind Playcentre Awareness Week so enthusiastically!

This year, as you know, the focus is about encouraging potential members to visit their local centre and see what Playcentre is all about. We have created graphics that you are welcome to use and these are available here. We have just added in an editable poster for you. This is perfect for promoting an open day at your centre during Playcentre Awareness Week. The editable poster is available in Word and there are locked sections and text boxes that are already pre-formatted so you can just add in your specific centre details and save as a PDF document. Click here to go to this section within the website.

Today, our online campaign on Stuff and the Eventfinda homepage takeover have begun! Our NZ Herald adverts are also underway.

We have made an Eventfinda umbrella page for Playcentre Awareness Week, but feel free to create your own Eventfinda listings promoting what days your individual centre is open during this week.

As a reminder, if you are going to, please email the media release to your local newspapers over the next few days. There is a template already available that you can use, with a section that offers you the opportunity to put a bit about your centre and your opening days and times. This is so that you as centres can personalise the media release. Feel free to include photos of your centres and members as well (please ensure a photo release permission form is filled out).

Keep a look out for 10 Facebook posts that will be published on the Playcentre Aotearoa Facebook page during PAW. Each one features a different future villager. Feel free to share and promote this on your own centres Facebook page.

The Facebook frame is available and ready to go! From next week, feel free to add this to your Facebook profile picture. All you need to do is go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes and search for ‘Playcentre 2019: A Future Villager’ then select Use as Profile Picture to save.

We have a neighbourly umbrella organisation profile about Playcentre Aotearoa and will be doing a national post about Playcentre Awareness Week. To load an individual centre and be able to post to your community in an official capacity please go to this link: https://www.neighbourly.co.nz/organisation-apply

Thank you for all of your support and excitement as we head into Playcentre Awareness Week. We are tracking to hit a record high with our website visits and a lot of centres have already provided feedback that they have received more enquiries and visits in the last week than usual.
