You’re invited to Playcentre Open Week!
If you have tamariki aged 0-6, you’re invited to your local centre during Playcentre Open Week to experience early childhood education with a difference.
Open Week runs Monday 18 – Friday 22 August 2025
Come along for a visit and support your tamariki to learn through play, while you meet other whānau in your community. From sand and water play, arts and music, to outdoor and messy play, there will be a range of resources and experiences on offer.
With over 400 centres across Aotearoa there is one near you. You get three visits before enrolling, so why not try a few centres in your community to see what suits you best?
If you can’t make it during Open Week, not to worry, we welcome new whānau any time.

Why Playcentre?
We are unique! We value parents as the first and best educators for their tamariki, so whānau attend with their tamariki to play, learn and grow together. We cater for tamariki from birth to school age and are licensed early childhood education (ECE) services.
