We acknowledge and honour the partnership established by Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the founding document of Aotearoa New Zealand. That partnership shapes everything we do. We are committed to bicultural practice and dedicated to protecting, uplifting and celebrating Māori culture and heritage within our community.

At Playcentre Aotearoa we strive to weave Te Ao Māori into daily life, as a living, breathing way of being.

We encourage the entire Playcentre Aotearoa whānau to embrace te reo Māori and tikanga; to kōrero, to waiata, to move together in kapahaka, and to share stories of whenua, whakapapa and whānau. And by learning together we grow stronger as a community.
