We want your voices heard!
The new Government has put together a Regulatory Review Committee to review the regulatory systems for early childhood education, health, safety, child protection, food safety, buildings, and workplaces, as they apply to the early childhood education sector.
This is an opportunity for Playcentre and Playcentre whānau to have their say on how these regulations impact us.
Playcentre Aotearoa has put together a short (5-10min) Playcentre Regulatory Review Survey for our whānau to complete so that we as Playcentre Aotearoa can present a collective voice to the regulatory review committee.
For those who would like to contribute directly to the Committee, you can do so through the Early Childhood Education Regulatory Review Survey. The Committee suggests that this survey may take 30 – 40 minutes, however, your input would be invaluable. There are separate surveys for parents/caregivers, people who work in ECE, service providers and other interested parties. You can access all of the survey links here ECE Review – Ministry for Regulation – Citizen Space.
We will also hold a Zoom hui for Playcentre whānau to have their say on Tuesday 6th August 2024 at 7.30pm.
Let us take this exciting opportunity to shape the Regulations that impact us as a Ministry Funded ECE.
He waka eke noa, we are all in this together!
David Moger, Chief Executive, Playcentre Aotearoa.
