Over the last week we have sent out a number of emails with the latest information.
SGM results and more information
On Saturday September 24th we gave a summary of the SGM outcome including the acceptance of the SGM results, the Trustee Board’s decision to adjourn the meeting and the latest financial information. This can be found here.
Following this, on Thursday 29th September, we sent out further information regarding the acceptance by Sir John Clarke to assist Playcentre and our next steps. This can be found here.
Notice of AGM and AGM Booklet
On Friday September 30th we also released the 2022 AGM booklet. This can be found here.
As part of this, we announced the difficult decision to move the AGM back online via Zoom. Whilst kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) is always the preference, due to our financial position we felt this was the most prudent choice.
We acknowledge that we are living through challenging times for Playcentre Aotearoa and at this time we are looking to our Playcentre values to guide us through. We greatly appreciate the ongoing commitment and engagement as we navigate our pathway forward.

Centre AGMs
And last but not least, as it is AGM season for our Centres, he mihi maioha, thank you to all those who have filled officer holder roles in the past year, and to you all for your contribution to your Centre. He mihi manahau hoki, congratulations and thank you too, to those newly appointed office holders for your commitment to supporting your Centre in the coming year.
