Generosity

Generosity is a funding search engine that Centres can access using the membership of Playcentre Aotearoa. It has taken them some time, but they have now addressed many of the issues that the previously rolled out new platform has caused.  Among the fixes are:

  • You will always get results.  In the previous build, they tried to eliminate from your search results those results that did not apply to all aspects of your search.  This function went too far and resulted in you receiving no results.  They have fixed the way the search works with each of the criteria so that you should always get results.
  • Real time updates.  When they update the information in their system, that is immediately available to those who are using the system.  This is a change from the overnight update which created a 24 hour lag.
  • Easier sign up and log in for users.
  • Easier to navigate between search results and search criteria.
  • For givUS users, multi-select has returned.  This means that you can select more than one criteria in a search.
  • For givME users, criteria that was missing in the previous build is now present in this upgrade.  This includes the iwi and land block lists.

This upgrade allows Generosity NZ to continue to work on the data structures that sit behind the system and other improvements which, over time you will see emerge in the system without having to go through another system upgrade.

Attached below is the link to the upgraded platform that will let you sign in using the membership of Playcentre Aotearoa. Please replace all your current Generosity links.

Centres can make an online payment directly to Harvey Norman and then collect from their local Harvey Norman store or pay for delivery, which makes the whole process easy.
