Playcentre at Baby Expos
Playcentre Aotearoa has partnered with Baby Expo to promote Playcentre and Space at Playcentre and Babies Can Play infant programmes to new parents.
In return for running the creche at the expo Playcentre receives a complimentary stand. This is a great opportunity to increase awareness of the Playcentre brand with our target market.
On 4&5 May we attended the Christchurch Baby Expo. We also attended the Auckland expo last weekend and we will be at the Wellington expo on 8&9 June and the Waikato expo on 22 & 23 June.
One of the key findings from our centre whānau survey was that 50% of whānau were referred by a friend or family member and 26% attended either Space or Babies Can Play.
This shows the power of the Playcentre experience and the opportunity to make more use of the Space or Babies Can Play programmes as introductions to Playcentre.
It also shows that our current advertising level is below that required to reach out more widely to society and presents an opportunity for more growth.
