As from 1st April, 2020, the minimum wage in New Zealand will rise from $17.70 per hour, to $18.90 per hour. If you have any centre-paid employees who are currently being paid at the minimum wage, you need to be aware that the wage bill will increase to reflect the new minimum wage as of 1st April this year.
The regional and national teams will handle the logistics of making this change, and centres will see the increased cost reflected in the wages invoices.
