Less than a year ago, we invited centres to climb aboard the waka and journey toward distant horizons.  Piki ake ki runga i te waka ki te pae tawhiti.

Together, we have travelled from the shallow spring, through the branching creeks, and into the fast-flowing waters of the river.  Ki te puna, te maunga, te awa.

Now, we are nearing the open ocean. Te pūaha ka eke ki te moana.

As we approach the new financial year:

  • 96% of centres have chosen to become a branch
  • 3% have signalled their intent and are completing paperwork
  • 1% are being actively supported through follow-up
  • 84% of centres have Kaimahi either:
    • already in-centre,
    • scheduled to arrive post-induction, or
    • ready to begin once the branch agreement is received

Ngā mihi nui e te whānau.

Your commitment to Playcentre ensures our kaupapa continues—supporting tamariki and whānau across the motu.

A word that comes to mind: Kaitiakitanga – Guardianship
