Your dedication, aroha, and commitment to the Playcentre philosophy—where parents are recognised as the first and best educators of their tamariki—are what make our centres so special. Your contributions help create nurturing, empowering, and joyful spaces for pēpi, tamariki, and whānau to play, learn and grow together.
Whether you’re supporting sessions, mentoring others, taking on leadership roles, or simply being there with a smile and a helping hand, your mahi is the heartbeat of our Playcentre communities.
To celebrate this special week, we invite you to nominate an amazing Playcentre volunteer from your centre who will go in the draw to receive a beautiful bunch of flowers from Interflora. Nominations close at 8pm on Sunday 22 June.
We’ll also be sharing stories from some of our amazing volunteers on our social media channels. We encourage you to read and share these inspiring stories—they are a beautiful reminder of the vital role our Playcentre parent volunteers play in supporting their children’s learning journeys and strengthening whānau and community connections across Aotearoa.
