This year Easter Tuesday is a school holiday but not an ECE holiday, therefore Playcentres are open as usual. If there is a difficulty with licensing due to school enrolled children being at home, you’re your centre could take a trip and have a supervision licensed team for Playcentre children and a separate group of parents supervising the school enrolled children.
If your centre decides to close for this day, remember to consider that you will not get funding for this day and that your employees will still need to be paid. You could, however, have a discussion with your employees about other tasks they could do on that day instead, for example facilitators could do learning stories, wall displays, and cleaners could tidy up storage cupboards.
