What a busy year it has been for all of us! The Professional Learning and Development Team has been dedicated to delivering our assigned programmes. Facilitators have imparted new skills and knowledge to centres, empowering them with greater confidence and capability to support their tamariki in their learning. Once again, facilitators have highlighted the significance of whanaungatanga and the importance of creating va (a space) to talanoa (to talk), which is essential for building and nurturing respectful relationships. Open and respectful interactions have allowed us to focus on the needs of centres and whānau. This has fostered the sharing of ideas and stories—when we talanoa, we truly connect.
