Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day (Sunday 6 October) is a special day for honouring those with silver in their hair and gold in their hearts.

At Playcentre grandparents are a valued part of our village. It is a privilege for grandparents and grandchildren to spend time together and the benefits for both are huge and well documented.

What is your centre doing to involve Grandparents in your wider Playcentre community? Why not invite grandparents to attend one of your sessions?  We also have promotional materials and activity templates that tamariki can do on session and take home to give to their special grandparent.
