How much does it cost?
At Playcentre, we believe every child deserves access to quality early childhood education—free from financial barriers. That’s why there are no set fees to attend.
Playcentre is partially funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Education. As a registered charity, we also rely on regular donations from parents and whānau to keep providing rich, hands-on learning experiences for our tamariki.
To help us continue creating a rich learning environment, we invite whānau of enrolled tamariki to make a donation each term. Your local centre will share the suggested amount and payment details. Every contribution goes directly to your centre, enhancing resources and supporting a welcoming environment for your children. Your donations power the play!
As part of your Playcentre journey, you’ll also have access to our free adult education programme, designed to give you practical strategies and skills to support your parenting.
You’re welcome to visit up to three times before enrolling and explore different centres in your area. Find a centre near you and discover the Playcentre difference!
