Playcentre has won the Gold Award for Best Preschooler Activity Centre/Class in the OHbaby Awards 2024.
This year has been the awards biggest and best yet, with over 14,500 participants casting an incredible 1.15 million votes!
This is the second time that Playcentre has been awarded gold in this category. They also won gold in the 2022 Awards, where parents cast their votes for their favourite products and services in the pregnancy and parenting world.
“We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who voted for Playcentre,” said David Moger, Chief Executive of Playcentre Aotearoa.
“The fact that Playcentre has been awarded Gold for Best Preschooler Activity Centre/Class shows the quality of our early childhood education programme is recognised throughout Aotearoa, which we are very proud of,” said Moger.
Playcentre is a nationwide charity with over 400 early childhood education centres nationwide.
The Playcentre philosophy values parents as the first and best educators for their tamariki.
At Playcentre, parents are encouraged to get involved in supporting their children’s learning by attending and playing alongside their children, while meeting other parents in their local community.
They also offer a free adult education programme for parents of enrolled tamarik to develop parenting skills and foster understanding of how tamariki learn and develop.
