400 in Term 4
The Education team is putting a wero – challenge – out to Playcentres… can we get 400 new whānau signed up to Playcentre Education in Term 4?! That’s an average of one per centre, but the more the merrier! Playcentre values parents as the first and best educators of their tamariki. Playcentre Education offers a free programme to support parents to gain additional parenting strategies to add to their toolkit.
Keep an eye out for social media posts to share with your centre. If every Education Champion can encourage one new person to sign up, we’ll easily reach the goal!
All new whānau start with PE1 Ūkaipōtanga – Let’s Play, and there are three options to do this module:
- In-person workshops at local Playcentres. Check your region here
- Self-directed online learning with groups starting 1 Nov, 15 Nov and 1 Dec
- Interactive webinars
