Nau mai, haere mai and welcome to Titirangi Playcentre

Located in the heart of Titirangi Village we are a vibrant, engaged, well-resourced and supportive early learning centre for families with children aged 0 – 6 years old.

Playcentre is unlike any other early childhood education organisation. At Playcentre, both children and their parents / caregivers attend sessions. Whānau are actively involved in the education of our tamariki and children are supported to become confident, competent self-directed learners through play activities based around their interests.

• Our children’s curiosity and creativity is nurtured through the fun range of experiences provided. No two days at Playcentre are the same.
• Our tamariki gain knowledge and grow through play, participation, experiences, and positive guidance.
• Siblings can attend together, allowing older tamariki to mentor younger tamariki and practice leadership, empathy and caring.
• Our centre is well resourced with a huge sandpit, playground, extensive covered outdoor area for the wet Titirangi winters, full kitchen and laundry facilities, and just about every piece of play equipment and educational resource that you can imagine.
• Our parents are actively involved in providing our children’s learning programmes and curriculum. The high adult to child ratio allows a good balance for group and individual support during each session.

At Playcentre, families come together and lifelong friendships are formed. There is no other early childhood education and family development organisation quite like it. Thousands of kiwi children, and their parents too(!), have grown up with Playcentre.
