Many centres have signed branch agreements, Kaimahi are in place and to be appointed, the Finance Team is well into transitoning finances. The new operational model also means a shift in practice for centre whānau, and the PLD team is offering a PLD programme for centre whānau to help you navigate into a new way of working.
We’ll help unpack the foundation of the change and support leaders in your centre to lead the change in practice within your centre. Some of the topics we’ll cover:
The programme includes six sessions (details below) approx 1-1.5 hours each. Playcentres are encouraged to nominate up to two centre whānau to be involved in the PLD, and more are welcome if spaces allow. You can tag team if needed. Where possible, we encourage you to participate in local regional opportunities so that you can connect with and support others in your hapori; however, we also have national opportunities available as well so that it is accessible to all.
