Hui-ā-Tau Māori – National Governance Representation

Held once a year. Consist of Rōpū Māori representatives from each of the six regions in Aotearoa/New Zealand, National Tangata Whenua Kaitiaki (Te Whare Tikanga Māori Representatives), National Māori Development Manager, and the Regional Te Ao Māori Fieldworkers.   With a commitment to making informed proposals and recommendations on behalf of Māori members to Playcentre Aotearoa Governance.

Māori Development Manager – National Support

To work to ensure Te Ao Māori is incorporated into everyday operations, assist employees and volunteers within the organisation to understand Māori traditions and values, and how these should be part of the fabric of Playcentre.

Te Ao Māori Fieldworker – Regional Support

To work to ensure Te Ao Māori incorporated into everyday operations, assist employees and volunteers within the Region to understand Māori traditions and values, and how these should be part of the fabric of Playcentre. Support Rōpū Māori to function effectively.

There are six Te Ao Māori Fieldworkers throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand.
