GOSH: New online health and safety reporting tool

Playcentre Aotearoa is relaunching GOSH on 3 March 2025.

What is GOSH? GOSH is a user friendly, online system for reporting health and safety incidents that will replace the current paper-based system that Centres have been using.

Why? We are implementing GOSH to help us efficiently respond to incidents in our Centres and workplaces and achieve compliance to health and safety legislation.

What does it do? GOSH allows us to record, track and analyse incidents that occur in our Centres and workplaces. This will help us to identify and address any risks or hazards that may affect our tamariki, their whanau and our employees.

Where is it? GOSH can be accessed through the App icon installed on the Centre tablets

Will there be training? First aiders will be the primary users of GOSH. The forms are like the paper forms already in use and should be intuitive to follow. However, training modules will be available to parents and guardians showing how to report near misses.

We have been testing the new system to ensure that it is fit-for-purpose for Playcentre Aotearoa. Hopefully we have covered everything, but if you come across an issue, or have any feedback please contact [email protected] (HSW) or [email protected] (IT).

GOSH will help use to create a safer and healthier play and work environment for everyone.
