Autumn is a wonderful time to take a walk and collect leaves. The variety of colours and shapes can be used for sorting, making and imaginary play. Leaves can become food, money or camouflage!
You can make leaf prints, animals and collage. We talked about their size, shape, length and my older daughter was inspired to write a short poem:
Autumn is windy,
autumn is cold,
autumn leaves are red and gold.
