Annual General Meeting 2021 timeline
The 2021 Annual General Meeting of Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa – Playcentre Aotearoa will be held online again this year, based on members feedback following AGM 2019 and AGM 2020.
There are 48 spaces allocated for attendance (24 Tāngata Tiriti House attendees and 24 Te Whare Tikanga Māori attendees). Each whare is expected to have 4 attendees from each of the six regions totally (4 x 6 = 24 Tāngata Tiriti / 4 x 6 = 24 Te Whare Tikanga Māori).
TWTNoA-PA clause 5.6 indicates Representatives to General Meetings (and including Tāngata Tiriti House and Te Whare Tikanga Māori) will be determined by an election process according to each house’s protocols that have regard to geographical and other representational principles.
As good governors there is an expectation that delegates meet the same expectations as Trustees which can be found in our constitution clause 11.7.2. Specifically being employed by Playcentre Aotearoa for less than 520 hours annually.

Regional Rōpū Māori online meetings: Friday 4th to Thursday 24th June, 2021 (regional Rōpū Māori to organise independently or request support from [email protected])
Regional governance online meetings: Friday 4th to Thursday 24th June, 2021 (regional members to organise independently or request support from [email protected])
AGM paper question deadline: 12 noon, Friday 25th June 2021 (please submit to [email protected])
AGM paper questions responses available: Monday 5th July 2021 (information will be emailed to centres)
Registrations open/close: Registrations open on Friday 4th June, and close at 12pm, Friday 23rd July 2021 (information will be emailed to centres)
AGM 2021 online: 9.30am – 12.30pm, Saturday, 31st July 2021 (information will be emailed to centres)
