Sector News

Eastern & Central Community Trust (ECCT) have recently made a visual change to their brand which supports the launch of their new Strategic Plan 2023-2030.  There are new priority communities as well as five key Pou | Pillars that provide a clear focus moving forward.  These key focus areas will help ECCT achieve the vision of accelerating courageous transformational change to create vibrant, more sustainable, and equitable communities.

The strategic plan will be followed by a new funding framework later in the year. It is important to note that this change in focus will likely affect some community organisations that have previously received ECCT funding.  ECCT would like fund recipients to be aware of this change, both to avoid disappointment and, more importantly, to enable organisations to plan accordingly.

More detail on the Strategic Plan and the five Pou can be found on their website.

New Discount for Playcentres – Kohab

Kohab was inspired by the desire to stop and appreciate the creatures we kohabit our New Zealand gardens with and to encourage more people to enjoy their magic.

Our products are made specifically for the birds you’ll find in an NZ garden. They are of high quality, sustainable and proudly NZ-made. We pack them in paper-based materials so that they are easy to recycle from home – no plastic here, and we even have a local packaging upcycling scheme to help us reduce our footprint.
