The NZPF Parent Financial Statements for the 2017-18 year have been signed, these are available for view here
The Group Financial Statements for Playcentre Aotearoa are currently in Audit and will be signed by the end of February and made available for centres to use for Grant Submissions shortly after.
We have changed our banking relationships within ASB and rebalanced the bank accounts and increased our interest revenue by over $100,000 per annum! We have reached out to ASB to put forward a package to centres with the focus on better interest returns and lower fees, I will keep you all posted on the results of this.
In December, the Playcentre Federation finance team attended training course specifically designed for our needs provided free of charge by Xero. This has helped us continue to implement changes in our processes to improve our services to centres. This training has also helped us to start developing some changes to the yearend reporting with the aim to entirely remove the need for centres to fill in a reporting pack in 2018/19!
