Emergency Closure

Under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (CPF or Traffic Light system) you can apply for Emergency Closure funding if your centre is unable to open due to the impact of COVID-19 measures on your staffing (paid or volunteer). This could be because staff (paid or volunteer) are required to self-isolate as they have tested positive for COVID-19, are a household contact, or they are symptomatic. This list is not exhaustive as there may be other factors impacting on your staffing (paid or volunteer) that mean you are unable to open safely, which includes having the right ratio of adults, first aiders and person responsible for the number of children attending.

Discretionary Days

We have updated  the funding section of the COVID FAQs on our website.

Ten (10) Discretionary sessions continue till September 2022, as does the use of EC12 & EC13, however there are some changes to this process.

Please read about the changes here (Funding section of the COVID FAQs) and If you have queries, please contact your Regional Funding Administrator.
